Uplifting and charging is the only way to express this 18 year olds’ latest project. She proves to be not only a dazzling vocalist, but a major songwriter as well, whose maturity goes well beyond her tender years.
Shari was born in Nashua, NH on February 01, 1987 as the older of two children. Her first on camera performance was at age three singing along to Shirley Temple in her living room. It was around that time her mother realized that the girl could sing.
In Kindergarten, Shari sang for the first time in front of a large audience during her elementary school talent show. She performed an old song called “Nobody’s Baby” all dressed up in her mother’s oversized high heels, dress, and costume jewelry trying to make an impression that she was all grown up and nobody’s baby anymore. The following year she sang “Chin Up” from the movie Charlotte’s Web for her schools annual talent show, and by third grade she sang at another elementary school talent show competing for a placement prize. Shari sang the song “You Gotta Be” by Desiree and won first place in her division. The next year the exceptionally talented youth surprised and amazed guests at a wedding when she sang, "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion.
By the year 2000, at the age of thirteen, Shari won first place in a karaoke contest when she sang "Hero" by Mariah Carey. That same year, she competed in the Volusia County Fairground’s annual talent contest and took first place by singing another Mariah Carey song called "I Still Believe".
It was during this time Shari discovered her gift for songwriting. Throughout her high school years, Shari continued to enter talent shows where she dazzled her classmates. By June of 2003, Shari signed on with Immanuel Productions, Inc. adding her vocals on five songs to Frank Carter's "Walk Alone?" project. After garnering tremendous support in her hometown of Deltona, Florida and surrounding areas, the single "Never Need to Walk Alone," was placed in heavy rotation on several Central Florida radio stations and has since earned outstanding reviews. She then released a second album with label mate, Carter titled "I Heard" in 2004. Together they have performed in many events throughout Florida.
In January 2005, Shari brought the house down when she sang the National Anthem for the Orlando Magic in the TD Waterhouse in Orlando, Florida. She also performed the National Anthem at the St. Pete Times Forum for the Tampa Bay Storm arena football game with incredible response.
Shari is currently working on her debut solo album with industry producer Steve Sundholm. The edgy guitar driven music performed by the smash sensation band members of “The Calling” as well as Lindsay Lohan’s bassist Cory Britz with Shari’s energetic and powerful vocals make for one album you don’t want to miss. Songs like the groove heavy, radio-ready pop gem "Good Day," may show off Shari’s lead vocal dancing above a sonic landscape while tunes like “Hollow,” with its inspired rock guitar solos, exhibit her formidable vocal prowess. Epic choruses, timely key changes, and shimmering production punctuate her awesome angelic voice.
“Fabricated pop I’m not,” says Shari, ” The songs I sing, and especially the songs I write, are reflections of me, my emotions, my soul...I’m simply real.”
Shari's Journal

Well, it looks like we lost the past journal entries I had written. So, I wanted to keep everyone updated as to what's been going on a little bit. The audition with TSO (Trans Sibierian Orchestra) went well, but unfortunately didn't make the cut for this year. They say they're really interested in next year however. Overall, it was a great experience and I was in complete awe of New York City! It was amazing, I wish I could have stayed a little longer .. maybe next time ;) .. other than that we've been sending out packages, booking more gigs, doing what we can to get on radio spin (mostly college right now). December 22nd I've got the Orlando Magic coming up again .. I'm excited to sing the National Anthem for them for the 3rd time. They've been really great to work with .. So get your tickets to the game if you wanna go!! They're playing the Golden State Warriors. Anyway, for everyone that has been checking out the site frequently .. Thanks! And please leave any comments or questions, or just plain statements for that matter, in the guestbook so I can know who's been coming on here and can answer you back. Thanks for reading! I'll update again soon :)

Hey everybody .. well it's the day after the big Rebecca St James concert and I am absolutely beat! Sooo tired, but it was a great night. For anyone that didn't make it out, you missed a great show and pretty good turn out. For anyone that did end up coming, thank you! And I hope you enjoyed the show. It was freezing but most people stuck it out 'til the end of the night. I want to say thanks to everyone that came by the table afterwards, too. Thanks for your support. We all worked soo hard to make this preformance rock. My band and singers were amazing, and are amazing always :) I'm so blessed to work with them.
This week leading up to the concert was tiring, stressful, intense and many other things all wrapped in one .. but in the end, it all worked out. I feel really good about yesterday and got some great/positive feedback. Had a few sound issues but it sounded good to the crowd seems to be the genral consensus. So I guess that's all that matters. I'm looking forward to the rest of the performances coming up. December 3 at the Improv comedy in Downtown Orlando (Church Street) I think is the next big one I've got coming up, so that should be fun. Get your tickets and supports the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America fund :) It's going to be a great night. Well, thanks for listening to me ramble and get out a bunch of the thoughts flying around my head :-P .. hope to see everyone at the next one ;)
